I welcome applications from students who are interested in doing a PhD in some topic related to systems engineering. Possible topics include system security, configuration support, dependability, modelling responsibilities in complex systems and service-oriented computing. However, PhD's are about flexibility and I am happy to talk about alternatives to these.
