Since 1982, I have written and edited books on software engineering and related topics (Click here for a complete list). The best known is my general textbook on software engineering which was first published by Addison Wesley in 1982 and which is now in its 8th edition (SE8, 2006). As well as these general texts, I have published books on requirements engineering for students and for practitioners, where we defined the Sommerville/Sawyer model of requirements engineering process maturity.
